Weather permitting, Route K in Audrain County is set to close on February 17 for a bridge replacement project over Hickory Creek. The closure will occur 1.74 miles west of Route W near Farber, with work expected to finish by mid-May.
Additionally, another bridge replacement project included in the contract is scheduled to start in late March. This project will take place on Route ZZ in Montgomery County over Little Loutre Creek, 0.46 miles south of Route RA near Wellsville, with an estimated completion date in mid-June.
The contract was awarded to E & C Bridge, LLC in December 2024 for $2 million. All work depends on weather conditions and schedules may change accordingly.
