A player of the Missouri Lottery in Jackson County recently secured a $100,000 prize from a "100 Million Cash Bonanza" scratch-off ticket. This winning ticket was purchased at the QuikTrip located at 17815 E. 39th St. S. in Independence.

In another instance last month, a Missouri Lottery player from Kansas City won one of the game's top prizes of $4 million. This ticket was purchased at a different QuikTrip at 9600 N. Oak Trafficway.

To date, players of the "$100 Million Cash Bonanza" game have claimed over $97.4 million in prizes by participating in the $20 game. Currently, more than $15.2 million in prizes remain unclaimed, including one top prize of $4 million and three prizes of $100,000.

For the fiscal year 2024, players in Jackson County won over $109.8 million in Missouri Lottery prizes. Additionally, retailers received more than $9.8 million in commissions and bonuses, and over $22 million from Lottery proceeds were contributed to education programs in the county.
