U.S. Senator Josh Hawley announced that Sarah Wynn-Williams, a whistleblower from Facebook, will testify before his Judiciary subcommittee in the coming week. The testimony will address allegations that Facebook worked with the Chinese government to develop censorship tools, suppress dissidents, and share American users’ data with China.

The hearing is titled “A Time for Truth: Oversight of Meta’s Foreign Relations and Representations to the United States Congress.” Additional details about the proceedings have yet to be released.
