The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has announced upcoming highway maintenance work in Northeast Missouri, scheduled from January 27 to February 7, 2025. The planned roadwork includes several closures and lane restrictions across various counties.
Drivers can access the Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org/map/ for details on road closures and planned work. MoDOT advises that inclement weather could lead to schedule changes and urges drivers to exercise caution by buckling up, putting phones down, slowing down, and moving over in work zones.
In Lewis County, Missouri Route 156 will be closed for brush cutting operations from Route D to Route KK at Newark on January 27-28 between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.
Marion County will see closures on Route CC from January 28-31 for brush cutting operations between Route K and CR 209 during the same hours. Additionally, U.S. Route 61/24 will have lane restrictions for sign installation from Route F to Business Route 61 on January 29, as well as southbound U.S. Route 61 from Route V to U.S. Route 61/24 on January 30.
In Scotland County, brush cutting operations will close Route U from CR 412 to CR 500 on February 3-4 and from CR 166 to CR 165 on February 5-6 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Warren County's Missouri Route 94 will experience lane restrictions for bridge maintenance near the Katy Trail from January 27-31 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., with a width restriction of ten feet where crews are working actively.
