Permit work on utility operations will lead to the closure of the exit ramp on northbound I-35 to 6th Street eastbound in downtown Kansas City. The work is scheduled from Monday, February 24, until Friday, March 7, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., weather permitting. Motorists should anticipate delays.

"Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones," officials stated. They emphasized that not all work zones look alike and can include short-term, temporary lane closures for quick repairs or debris removal.
