Permit work for utility operations will lead to lane closures on both northbound and southbound I-35 in Clay County. The affected area is approximately 0.10 miles southwest of the NE 189th Street Bridge Overpass near Mile Marker 31.2. The work is scheduled to begin on Saturday, February 15, and continue through Sunday, February 16, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., weather permitting.

Motorists are advised to anticipate delays during this period. It is important for drivers to slow down and remain attentive while navigating work zones. These zones may not always be easily recognizable and can include short-term or temporary lane closures intended for quick repairs or debris removal from the roadway.
