The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has announced the cancellation of planned pavement evaluations on southbound I-35. The work was initially scheduled to take place between 124th Street and 116th Street, resulting in single lane closures on Wednesday, January 29, from approximately 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The department had noted that all work would be contingent upon weather conditions.

Motorists are advised to remain vigilant and exercise caution while driving through work zones. MoDOT emphasizes that not all work zones are identical; some may involve short-term or temporary lane closures for quick repairs or debris removal.
