The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has announced its planned highway maintenance and construction work for the mid-Missouri area from February 3 to February 9, 2025. The projects may be postponed due to weather conditions, and many will involve lane closures that could cause delays.

In Boone County, bridge construction continues on U.S. Route 63 between the Broadway overpass and Conley Road underpass in Columbia. The road will remain open but with narrowed lanes and reduced speeds as part of the Improve I-70 program. New pavement construction is also ongoing on Interstate 70 in Columbia from Route B to U.S. Route 63 through January 2027.

Callaway County will see culvert replacements on Route A from February 5 to February 7, resulting in daily road closures. New pavement construction continues on I-70 from the Boone County line to Kingdom City.

In Cole County, a routine bridge inspection is scheduled for U.S. Route 54 at the Moreau River Bridge from February 3 to February 6.

Cooper County will have a routine bridge inspection on I-70 at the Missouri River Bridge at Rocheport during the same period.

Crawford County plans pavement repairs on I-44 westbound and roadside work on Missouri Routes 8, 19, and 49 from February 3 to February 7.

Dent County's roadside work continues at Standing Rock Creek as part of a bridge replacement project expected to complete by May 2025.

Howard County has scheduled roadside work on Missouri Route 87 from February 3 to February 7.

Laclede County will conduct culvert replacements on Routes AD and K, along with nightly bridge maintenance over the Gasconade River Bridge and Bear Creek Bridge starting February 3.

Maries County plans roadside work on Missouri Route 42 between Vienna and Belle during this period.

Miller County's schedule includes bridge maintenance on U.S. Route 54 westbound over Saline Creek Bridge and roadside work on Route C.

Moniteau County plans pothole patching across various routes from February 3 to February 7.

Morgan County's pavement work continues between Fairgrounds Road and Missouri Route 5 until November 2025.

Osage County has core drilling planned for U.S. Route 63 and pavement repairs for Missouri Route 89 within this timeframe. Various locations will undergo bridge maintenance as well.

Phelps County's schedule includes culvert replacements, roadside work, shoulder work in St. James, and bridge maintenance on Outer Road 44 starting February 3.

Pulaski County plans roadside work along Routes 133 and 28 during this week-long period.
