U.S. Senator Josh Hawley from Missouri has expressed his support for President-elect Donald Trump's choice of Pam Bondi as the nominee for U.S. Attorney General. In his statements, Hawley called for a thorough investigation into the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), advocating for reforms within these agencies.

Hawley shared his thoughts on social media, stating, "Congrats to my friend @PamBondi! She’ll be a fabulous AG. Now we need a new Church Commission to investigate the abuses of DOJ & FBI – the persecution of Trump & conservatives, the spying on Christians, the targeting of prolifers. I will lead the charge in the Senate."

The senator further emphasized the necessity for a comprehensive review by saying, "We need a new Church Commission to bring to light ALL the abuses at DOJ & FBI of the last decade. From the Russia hoax to the illegal spying to the infiltration of Christian churches. It must ALL be made public. And then there must be top to bottom reform."

Hawley's remarks highlight his commitment to addressing what he perceives as misconduct within federal agencies and signal his intent to push for significant changes in their operations.
