A Missouri Lottery player experienced unexpected fortune during a routine stop at Smoker’s Friendly in St. James. Visiting for a soda, he decided to purchase a “777 Jackpot” Scratchers ticket.
"My blood sugar was low, so I stopped in there to grab a soda and just randomly bought that ticket," the winner explained. To his surprise, he revealed one of the game's $77,777 prizes after scratching the ticket.
"I was just in disbelief," he shared. The winnings came at an opportune time, as the winner and his wife plan to build a new house. "This will really help with that!" he stated.
Since the "777 Jackpot" game launched on February 24, players have claimed over $5.8 million in prizes. Unclaimed prizes worth over $28.1 million remain, including two top prizes of $777,777 and three additional $77,777 prizes.
