A Missouri Lottery player in Mississippi County has won a $100,000 top prize from a "20X Crossword" Scratchers ticket. The winning ticket was bought at Total Package & Tobacco located at 206 N. Washington St. in East Prairie. The prize was claimed at the Missouri Lottery's St. Louis regional office on February 13.
In fiscal year 2024, players who purchased tickets in Mississippi County won over $3.8 million in total Missouri Lottery prizes. Of these winnings, more than $2 million came from Scratchers tickets and an additional $1.4 million was won through Draw Games prizes. Retailers in the area received more than $380,000 in commissions and bonuses, while education programs benefited from over $62,000 in appropriated lottery proceeds.
