The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has announced a schedule for highway maintenance in Northeast Missouri from February 3 to February 14, 2025. In Macon County, Route K will be closed from February 3 to February 5 for culvert replacement between Route M and Route KK, and again from February 6 to February 7 between Route KK and Kennedy Street. These closures will take place daily from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

In Marion County, U.S. Route 61 Southbound will experience lane restrictions on February 3 for sign installation between Route V and U.S. Route 61/24 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Missouri Route 168 will be closed for brush cutting operations from February 5 to February 7 between Route JJ and CR 401 during the same hours each day. Additionally, Route C will be closed from CR 234 to Route U on February 3 and February 4, while Route CC will be closed from CR 211 to CR 219 from February 4 through February 6.

In Scotland County, brush cutting operations will close parts of Route U between CR 412 and CR 500 on February 3 and February 4, as well as between CR 166 and CR165 on February5 and February6; these closures are also scheduled daily from8:00a.m.to3:00p.m.

MoDOT encourages drivers to "work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, slowing down and moving over in work zones." Information about road closures can be accessed via the Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org/map/.
