Permit work for utility operations will necessitate various lane closures on E. 6th Street in Jackson County, Missouri. The affected area stretches from east at Superior Street and under MO Route 9 (Heart of America Bridge) to Charlotte Street in Downtown Kansas City. The work is scheduled to commence on Thursday, February 13, and is expected to conclude by Friday, April 11. The construction will take place daily between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., weather permitting.

Motorists should anticipate delays due to the lane closures. It is advised that drivers slow down and remain attentive while navigating through work zones. "Not all work zones look alike," authorities remind, emphasizing that they can include short-term or temporary lane closures for quick repairs or debris removal.
