The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has announced a temporary closure for repairs in Greene County. The closure will affect the on-ramp from Routes NN/J to westbound U.S. Route 60, located east of Springfield. The scheduled repair work is set to take place from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, February 3.

Contractor crews will be conducting guardrail repairs during this time frame, necessitating the ramp's closure. There will be no signed detour available for drivers, but signs and message boards are in place to alert approaching traffic about the closure.

Motorists are advised to find alternate routes and check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for updates on road closings and traffic impacts. "Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule," stated MoDOT.

For further details, individuals can contact MoDOT in Springfield at 417-895-7600 or visit their website at www.modot.org/southwest.

MoDOT also encourages following their Southwest District's social media channels for updates: Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and YouTube.
