Route E in New Madrid County, Missouri, will be closed to traffic as contractor crews work on replacing the bridge over Otter Slough. The affected section is situated between County Road 829 and County Road 845 near Morehouse.
Weather permitting, construction is set to commence on Monday, February 17, with completion expected by Sunday, May 18. The road will remain closed until the project is finished.
Signage will mark the work zone and a detour route will be established. Motorists are advised to exercise extreme caution when traveling in the vicinity of the construction area.
