The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has announced a temporary closure on Route FF in Vernon County due to pipe replacement work. The closure will occur between Vernon County Road 375 and Vernon County Road 425, northwest of Bronaugh.
The work is scheduled for Wednesday, January 29, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. MoDOT crews will be replacing a damaged pipe underneath the road during this time.
As a result, all lanes of Route FF will be closed at the site where crews are working. While drivers will still have access to driveways and entrances on either end of the work zone, they will not be able to pass through it. No signed detours will be provided, so drivers are advised to find alternate routes.
To inform approaching drivers, signs and message boards will be in place near the work zone. MoDOT recommends checking their Traveler Information Map for updates on road closings and traffic impacts.
Weather conditions or scheduling conflicts could potentially alter the planned schedule. For further information, MoDOT can be contacted in Springfield at 417-895-7600 or through their website at www.modot.org/southwest.
MoDOT's Southwest District can also be followed on Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and YouTube for updates.
