Route K in Dallas County will be closed on January 29 for pipe replacement. The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) announced that the closure will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., affecting a section half a mile south of Dallas County Route MM, northeast of Buffalo.

During this time, MoDOT crews will replace a damaged pipe beneath the road. All lanes on Route K where work is being conducted will be closed. However, drivers can access driveways and entrances at either end of the work zone but cannot pass through it.

There are no signed detours, so drivers are advised to seek alternate routes. Signs and message boards will notify approaching drivers about the work zone. MoDOT's Traveler Information Map can provide updates on road closures and traffic impacts.

The schedule may change due to weather or other conflicts. For further details, contact MoDOT in Springfield at 417-895-7600 or visit their website.
