The City of St. Louis Refuse Division has announced an adjustment to the roll cart trash collection schedule in observance of Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 2, 2024. Residents with Monday (solid waste) and Thursday (recycling) collections will have their trash collected on Tuesday, Sept. 3, and recyclables collected on Thursday, Sept. 5.
Those with Tuesday (solid waste) and Friday (recycling) collections will receive trash collection on Wednesday, Sept. 4, and recyclables collected on Friday, Sept. 6. Yard waste collection will resume on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2024.
Residents are encouraged to visit the Refuse Division website for further information regarding services such as remodeling and renovation debris disposal, illegal dumping reports, bulky items pickup including batteries, oil, appliances, tires (B.O.A.T.), yard waste management including Christmas trees disposal, recycling guidelines, and hazardous waste programs.
