Source reported that the Golf and Give innovation challenge at Saint Louis University's School of Science and Engineering was a success. A total of thirteen teams participated in the challenge, where they were tasked with creating a mini golf hole representing their student organization using donation items.
The highlight of the event was the impressive designs created by the participating teams. The winning team, Women in Aviation, impressed the golfers with their creative Southwest 737 plane hole, adorned in blue and gold, complete with miniature seats for golfers to navigate around. As a result, they secured $1,000 in organization funding for their group.
The second-place team, the Flying Billikens, also showcased their innovative skills with a hole that began on a table and transitioned to the floor, modeled after an airport runway. For their efforts, they were awarded $500.
The Golf and Give challenge not only provided a platform for students to showcase their creativity and innovative thinking but also raised funds for Billiken Bounty, benefitting the community in a unique and engaging way.
