11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Lakeside Nature Center, 4701 E Gregory Blvd, Kansas City, MO

Admission is FREE, but donations always welcome!

Fox Hollow Fest is a picnic-themed trail fundraiser, featuring live music by Cori Jo Hawkins and Brian Kohrs, hikes with a naturalist, activities for kids, a raffle and merchandise tables. Bring a picnic basket, blanket and chairs and enjoy a trail lover’s afternoon of fun! Find a place on the rocky bluffs to enjoy the day with friends and family. Food is not provided but we will have coolers of lemonade and tea.

All proceeds go toward improvement of the Fox Hollow Trail system.

Day’s Activities

11 a.m. — Wildflower Hike with a Naturalist

11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. — Water Quality by KC Water

11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. — Kits Corner: Make Native Seed Balls, Construct Take Home Bug Hotels, Create Beautiful Art with Nature Rubbings

Noon — Geology Hike with a Naturalist

12:30 – 2:30 p.m. — Live Music by Cori Jo Hawkins & Brian Kohrs

2:30 p.m. — Raffle Drawing Begins*

* Raffle prizes include donations from Moosejaw, Trek Bike Store, Waldo Outfitters, Littlest Bake Shop, Nature photography, Made on McGee Hand-made Dog Beds, Three Dog Bakery and more… Cash, check or cards accepted.

Merchandise tables include a native plant sale by Sow Wild Natives, handmade pottery, shirts, canvas totes and stickers.

Cash, check or cards accepted.  Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be leashed. However, they are not allowed inside Lakeside Nature Center.

Composting, glass, and mixed material recycling on site. We encourage everyone to avoid single use plastics and to bring their own refillable bottles/cups.
