St. Louis will soon have new nonstop flights to London, as British Airways has announced plans to operate service between St. Louis Lambert International Airport and London Heathrow Airport four days a week starting in April 2026. The first flight is scheduled for April 19, 2026, and tickets are already available for booking on the British Airways website.

This announcement follows Lufthansa’s recent decision to expand its nonstop service from St. Louis to Frankfurt, Germany, increasing from three to five flights per week beginning in June 2026.

Dustin Allison, Interim CEO of Greater St. Louis, Inc., commented on the developments: “Expanding connectivity is critical to our work to grow St. Louis, and securing this new nonstop service to London will greatly increase our ability to attract international investment and to showcase St. Louis on the global stage.

“We’ve been intentional in our work to promote St. Louis as a destination to international markets, and that work is paying off. Coupled with Lufthansa’s recent announcement of expanded service to Frankfurt, Germany, we are showing the international community that St. Louis is a place to which they need to be connected.

Greater St. Louis (GSL) and Explore St. Louis plan to lead a trade delegation later this year to London ahead of the start of these flights next spring in order to pursue business and tourism opportunities related to this new route.
