U.S. Senator Josh Hawley addressed the Senate floor to discuss the records of four nominees for federal district court positions in Missouri. He expressed support for their upcoming confirmation votes and acknowledged President Donald Trump for nominating judges with constitutionalist views, contrasting this with previous appointments made under President Joe Biden.

“Each of these four individuals will soon take his or her place on the federal bench, and I am confident will be a great credit, not just to my state but to the United States, where I hope they will serve as federal judges for a very long time to come,” Senator Hawley said.

The Senate is expected to vote on the following nominees starting next week: Joshua M. Divine for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri; Maria A. Lanahan, Zachary M. Bluestone, and Cristian M. Stevens for positions in the Eastern District of Missouri.

Senator Hawley’s full remarks are available online.
