The Missouri Agricultural and Small Business Development Authority (MASBDA) has opened applications for the Show-Me Entrepreneurial Grants for Agriculture (SEGA) Innovation Grant Program. This initiative, aimed at enhancing value-added agriculture in Missouri, invites entities to apply by September 19, 2025.
The SEGA Innovation Grant Program was established in 2019 by the Missouri Food, Beverage, and Forest Products Manufacturing Task Force under the leadership of then Lieutenant Governor Mike Kehoe. It is funded through an appropriation from the Missouri General Assembly. The program supports producers, businesses, organizations, and cooperatives with grants ranging from $50,000 to $250,000. These funds can be used for facilities, equipment upgrades, services, coordinated efforts, and cooperative marketing that directly contribute to value-added agriculture. Recipients must provide a minimum 25% cash match for their projects.
Applications are due by 3 p.m. on Friday, September 19, 2025. Forms and evaluation criteria can be accessed online at www.masbda.com.
