A Missouri Lottery player has won a $100,000 prize in the “MONOPOLY Doubler” Scratchers game. The winning ticket was bought at Midwest Petroleum, located at 15302 Manchester Road, Ballwin.

The player, who described himself as a fan of MONOPOLY, recounted the experience: “I’m a sucker for anything MONOPOLY,” he said with a laugh. After noticing only a few tickets left in the roll, he consulted with his wife about purchasing them. During the scratching session, the tension rose as they discovered a $20,000 prize. "I was jumping up and down. I was so excited to win!” he exclaimed. However, the surprise continued as they scratched further: “After we calmed down a bit, my wife said, ‘Maybe we should finish scratching it!’” he chuckled. “That’s when we found out we won $100,000!”

Since its release in February, the $5 “MONOPOLY Doubler” game has awarded over $6.1 million in prizes. There are currently over $8 million in unclaimed prizes remaining, including three more top prizes of $100,000, plus a $20,000 prize.

During the fiscal year 2024, St. Louis County players won more than $200.8 million in Missouri Lottery prizes. Additionally, local retailers earned over $19.4 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $161.2 million from Lottery proceeds was allocated to education programs within the county.
