Officials from Greater St. Louis, Inc. (GSL) will visit Washington, Missouri, on April 29 to engage with local leaders and business owners in efforts to fortify regional cooperation and obtain insights into workforce and business development. The visit is part of GSL's mission to encourage growth across the St. Louis region. Tim Brinker, Senior Vice President for Government Relations and former Franklin County Presiding Commissioner, will head the GSL delegation.

The day's agenda includes a walking tour of downtown Washington businesses and discussions with local leaders about "Connect Washington." A small business roundtable will also take place, focusing on workforce development and regional economic growth. Tim Brinker emphasized the importance of direct engagement, stating, "Leading means listening, so we want to hear directly from business owners and local leaders about how GSL can be a partner."

Scheduled events will commence at the Washington Area Chamber of Commerce at 9:00 a.m., including a presentation from Connect Washington and a moderated roundtable at 11:00 a.m. Discussion topics will address workforce development challenges, opportunities, and local training programs.
