As part of the STL 2030 Jobs Plan, the restoration of Downtown St. Louis aims to revitalize the region's core. This strategy includes various projects focused on redevelopment and improved public safety, with an optimistic outlook on St. Louis regaining its momentum.

Greater St. Louis, Inc. (GSL) has partnered with the City of St. Louis to implement changes. They have been working to address issues related to the Millennium Hotel and Railway Exchange. GSL emphasizes the value of forming public-private partnerships to facilitate the needed transformations.

According to the STL 2030 Jobs Plan: “If the metro is to prosper, the core of the St. Louis metro must become a magnet for innovation, employment density and population growth.” The initiative to renew Downtown St. Louis continues as tangible progress is noted.
