A significant win was reported in Jasper County for one Missouri Lottery player who purchased a "Ruby Red 7's" Scratchers ticket at Mac's Stop, located at 1302 S. Schifferdecker Ave. in Joplin. The ticket resulted in a top prize of $77,777. This contributes to the over $3 million in Scratchers prizes already claimed by Jasper County players this year.
The "Ruby Red 7's" game, since its release in January, has seen players claim upwards of $5.9 million in prizes. Nevertheless, more than $8.1 million worth of prizes remain unclaimed, which includes three more grand prizes of $77,777 and two prizes worth $10,000 each.
The Missouri Lottery reported that in the fiscal year 2024, players in Jasper County won more than $15 million in prizes. Retailers in the county received over $1.4 million in commissions and bonuses, while over $3.5 million from Lottery proceeds were directed to fund local education programs.
