A Missouri Lottery player achieved a significant win with a $426,000 Show Me Cash jackpot on March 29. He obtained the successful Quick Pick ticket at Zingers Mart, located at 5204 Lemay Ferry Road in St. Louis. The numbers drawn were 1, 11, 14, 19, and 22.
The winner remarked, “I didn’t believe I won for at least two days,” expressing disbelief until his visit to the Lottery Office confirmed the prize. He confessed, "I played Show Me Cash, and it showed me the cash!"
This windfall came at an opportune moment for him as his car had been damaged during recent storms, necessitating a replacement. “I will probably use some for a car and pay on my student loans,” he mentioned.
The Show Me Cash game is drawn every day at 8:59 p.m., with jackpots starting at $50,000 and increasing until a winner emerges. The upcoming jackpot is projected to be $84,000.
In the fiscal year 2024, St. Louis County players secured over $200.8 million in Missouri Lottery prizes. Additionally, retailers earned upwards of $19.4 million in commissions and bonuses, while more than $161.2 million in Lottery proceeds contributed to educational initiatives within the county.
