St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) is excited to announce the launch of Air Canada's seasonal service to Montreal, Canada. Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge, STL Airport Director, expressed her enthusiasm, stating, "It is great news to have Air Canada service to Montreal." This new service will provide the St. Louis region with a daily outbound flight to Montreal at 11 a.m. and an inbound flight arriving from Montreal just after 9 p.m., operating out of STL's Concourse A in Terminal 1.
Mark Galardo, Executive Vice President, Revenue and Network Planning at Air Canada, highlighted the significance of the new route, saying, "We are very pleased to launch this new non-stop route to Montreal from St. Louis, complementing our existing service to Toronto." He emphasized that the additional service will strengthen Air Canada's position as the leading carrier between Canada and the United States, providing direct access for travelers from St. Louis to Montreal and connecting them to Air Canada's international network.
The World Trade Center St. Louis has organized a trade mission on the inaugural flight to celebrate the new service, with St. Louis Mayor Tishaura O. Jones and County Executive Dr. Sam Page leading the delegation. More than 25 civic, economic development, and business leaders are part of the mission, aiming to build important economic relationships between the two regions. Tim Nowak, executive director of the World Trade Center St. Louis, emphasized the benefits of the new service, stating, "The new direct service will allow for ease of travel, increased tourism, and business connectivity."
With this expansion of Air Canada's services, travelers from St. Louis can now enjoy convenient access to Montreal, a vibrant North American destination, in addition to the existing daily non-stop service to Toronto. Canada's status as the largest trade and investment partner for the state of Missouri and the St. Louis region further underscores the importance of these new routes for both tourism and business connections.
