Description
These schools combine classroom learning about cow anatomy and physiology, estrous synchronization, proper semen handling and tank care, cowherd nutrition and health for a successful breeding season. These classes will have a lot of hands on practice handling semen, dissecting reproductive tracts, and a lot of sleeve time in the cows. AI certification may be awarded upon completion of the school. Class size is limited to 12 individuals. Wear or bring clothes that can get dirty. In accordance with University of Missouri policies, all participants must wear a face covering while at the research center.
Cost: $400/personIncludes breakfast and lunch including on 1st and 2nd day.
