From July through September of 2021, there were 113 homes sold, with a median sale price of $174,900 – a 9.9% increase over the $159,150 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 1,557 homes sold in St. Louis in the third quarter of 2020.
The median sales tax in St. Louis for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,300, approximately 0.7% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
