The Chaifetz Center for Entrepreneurship at Saint Louis University will host its 2025 Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Friday, November 14, at the Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business.
The Hall of Fame recognizes entrepreneurs connected to Saint Louis University who have made notable contributions to society and the economy through leadership in various sectors. The 2025 inductees are Don Vitale and George Brill.
Don Vitale is managing partner of Manchester Capital, LLC and has held leadership roles in several manufacturing businesses. He managed 3M subsidiaries in Brazil and the Philippines early in his career and later led a leveraged buyout of DESA International. Over the past 25 years, he has run his own private equity company and served on numerous boards, contributing to economic development and entrepreneurship in South-Central Kentucky. According to the press release, "Vitale’s dedication to business innovation and community leadership reflects the mission of the Chaifetz School of Business and Saint Louis University."
George Brill is founder and CEO of Talisen Technologies, Inc., a St. Louis-based enterprise technology firm focused on secure systems integration and sustainability platforms. After earning a degree in aeronautical engineering from Saint Louis University, Brill worked as a structural engineer with the U.S. Navy and McDonnell Douglas before starting Talisen in 1991. Under his leadership, Talisen has become known for providing enterprise solutions across government, healthcare, and energy sectors. The press release states: "His career reflects a lifelong commitment to advancing technology, fostering innovation, and strengthening the St. Louis business community."
In addition to Hall of Fame inductees, two younger entrepreneurs will be recognized at the event. Luke Thorburg will receive Young Alumni Entrepreneur of the Year honors for his work as co-founder of Street Talk, a media agency that partners with global brands such as Dr. Squatch, Monopoly Games, and Athletic Greens. The agency focuses on authentic content creation for digital audiences.
Caiden Gagliano will be named Student Entrepreneur of the Year for leading development on a therapeutic medical device aimed at reducing post-surgical muscle atrophy—a project inspired by his personal experiences as an athlete recovering from knee surgeries.
Jim Roche will also be honored as Mentor of the Year.
The ceremony highlights Saint Louis University's ongoing support for entrepreneurship education through its programs at the Chaifetz Center for Entrepreneurship.
