At 4theVille, located at 4144 Dr. Martin Luther King Drive, relief efforts are active today from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is a significant need for skilled volunteers comfortable with power tools and climbing ladders for home stabilization tasks. Building materials such as tarps and lumber are also in demand at this location. Those with trucks who can assist in transporting these items are encouraged to stop by or contact 314-827-5507.
Action St. Louis/The People's Response is operating out of the O’Fallon Park Rec Center at 4343 West Florissant Avenue with new hours today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. They seek both donations and volunteer support.
The Urban League will host a large-scale distribution event on Saturday, June 7, from noon to 3 p.m., providing food, toiletries, and other resources at their headquarters on Kingshighway.
In addition to physical donations, financial contributions can be made through the City of St. Louis Tornado Response Fund managed by the St. Louis Community Foundation or the United Way of Greater St. Louis Severe Storm/Tornado Relief Fund.
