The ongoing tornado recovery efforts in St. Louis continue to require supplies, donations, and volunteers. The updated list of necessary items has been released for the three locations involved in distributing materials for recovery.

At 4theVille, located at 4144 Dr. Martin Luther King Drive, relief operations will proceed until Friday, June 6, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. A significant need for plywood has been reported by the team on-site. Other required construction and clean-up materials include tarps, OSB sheathing or Zip Boards, poly sheeting, and various tools and safety equipment.

Action St. Louis/The People's Response at the O’Fallon Park Rec Center will resume operations on Tuesday, June 3, continuing through Friday, June 6, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., after being closed on Monday. Volunteers are needed for the rest of the week. Urgent needs when this location reopens include Enfamil (yellow label), distilled water, flashlights, solar-powered lights, reusable bags/totes, and cleaning supplies.

The Urban League Headquarters is hosting a large-scale distribution event on Saturday, May 31 from noon to 3 p.m., at their headquarters on Kingshighway at Dr. Martin Luther King Dr. In addition to tarps for covering exposed roofs, they request caulk guns and other construction materials as well as canned food items with pop tops.

Volunteers are essential across all locations; opportunities can be found through The United Way of Greater St. Louis and Action St. Louis/The People's Response volunteer centers.

Donations can be made to the City of St. Louis Tornado Response Fund via the St. Louis Community Foundation or to the United Way of Greater St. Louis Severe Storm/Tornado Relief Fund.

Businesses impacted by the storm can fill out an assessment form set up by the St. Louis Development Corporation to identify their needs.
