The tornado recovery efforts in St. Louis continue to require significant community support, with teams on the ground requesting additional supplies, donations, and volunteers. The list of necessary items has been updated for three key distribution locations.

At 4theVille on Dr. Martin Luther King Drive, plywood and tarps are urgently needed. Essential construction and clean-up materials include tarps, plywood, OSB sheathing, poly sheeting, and various tools such as hammers and drills. General supplies like tents, batteries, flashlights, cleaning products, and personal care items are also requested.

Action St. Louis/The People's Response at the O’Fallon Park Rec Center is calling for reusable bags and Clorox wipes as urgent needs. Other required items include construction materials like tarps and poly sheeting, canned food with pop tops, hygiene products, and pet food.

The Urban League Headquarters will host a large-scale distribution event on May 31 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., where they will distribute food and toiletries. They emphasize the need for tarps along with various construction tools and general supplies like bottled water and batteries.

Volunteers remain essential across all locations. The United Way of Greater St. Louis and Action St. Louis/The People's Response have established volunteer centers to coordinate efforts.

Financial contributions can be made to the City of St. Louis Tornado Response Fund or the United Way of Greater St. Louis Severe Storm/Tornado Relief Fund to aid immediate relief efforts and long-term rebuilding initiatives.

Businesses affected by the storm can complete an assessment form through the St. Louis Development Corporation to identify their specific needs.
