The ongoing tornado recovery efforts in St. Louis are calling for continued support through supplies, donations, and volunteers. Over the extended weekend, a significant distribution event will take place at the Urban League headquarters, with changes in schedules at other locations.

People are encouraged to keep updated via emails and social media channels. There are three main locations where materials needed for recovery are being distributed: 4theVille, Action St. Louis at the O’Fallon Park Rec Center, and Urban League Headquarters.

At 4theVille on Dr. Martin Luther King Drive, hours have been updated to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., while it will be closed Sunday and Monday. Essential construction and clean-up materials such as tarps, poly sheeting, power tools, and safety equipment are needed here.

Action St. Louis at the O’Fallon Park Rec Center requires similar supplies along with general items like personal power banks and hygiene products.

Urban League Headquarters will host a large-scale food, toiletries, and resource distribution event on Saturday from noon to 3 p.m., requesting items such as bottled water, canned goods with pop tops, infant supplies, and hygiene products.

Volunteers remain crucial at all sites; The United Way of Greater St. Louis and Action St. Louis offer additional volunteer opportunities through established centers.

Financial contributions can be made to two funds: the City of St. Louis Tornado Response Fund by the St. Louis Community Foundation for immediate relief and long-term rebuilding efforts; or the United Way of Greater St. Louis Severe Storm/Tornado Relief Fund supporting regional residents affected by storms alongside disaster response nonprofits.

Impacted businesses can fill out an assessment form via the St. Louis Development Corporation for assistance needs understanding due to storm impacts.

For those needing immediate relief or resources information is available on the City’s page.
