U.S. Senator Josh Hawley has issued a statement in response to severe storms and tornadoes that have struck eastern Missouri. Local state authorities have reported multiple fatalities and injuries as a result of the weather conditions.
Senator Hawley expressed his condolences, stating, "Erin and I are praying for the Missourians lost and the families devastated in today’s storms." He assured that his office is maintaining contact with local authorities to assess the situation across St. Louis (STL) and Southeast Missouri (SEMO). "We are standing by to assist all those affected," he added.
