A Missouri Lottery player recently claimed a $50,000 prize from a "500X" Scratchers ticket. The winning ticket was purchased at QuikTrip, located at 6312 S. Lindbergh Blvd., in Green Park.
The "500X" is one of two $50 Scratchers games available through the Missouri Lottery. According to the lottery officials, 35 players have won a $50,000 prize on this ticket so far. Additionally, six players have won $1 million prizes, and two have claimed top prizes of $5 million. Overall, players have won over $184.5 million from this game, with $73.1 million still unclaimed. This includes a top prize of $5 million and 15 more $50,000 prizes yet to be awarded.
In the last fiscal year, those who bought tickets in St. Louis County collectively won over $200.8 million in Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers earned more than $19.4 million in commissions and bonuses from these sales. Moreover, education programs within the county benefited from over $161.2 million in appropriated Lottery proceeds.
