Arch to Park Equity Fund LLC has announced a request for proposals (RFP) for the redevelopment of the historic Wainwright Building in Downtown St. Louis. The organization is set to finalize its purchase from the State of Missouri later this summer.

Dustin Allison, Interim CEO of Greater St. Louis, Inc., which coordinates Arch to Park Equity Fund, stated, “The Wainwright Building is one of the most iconic and important buildings not just in Downtown St. Louis, but also the world.” He added that they are seeking "the best ideas from around the world" to transform it into a central destination in Downtown St. Louis.

This redevelopment initiative aims to contribute to ongoing developments in Downtown St. Louis, including new streetscape work on 7th Street connecting Ballpark Village with America’s Center on Washington Avenue. Other projects include:

- Millennium Hotel redevelopment: The Gateway Arch Park Foundation has released renderings for new riverfront development at this site.

- Brickline Greenway: Construction on part of this project is complete with further planning underway.

- Old Courthouse renovation: This landmark has reopened as part of Gateway Arch National Park.

- Various events and activities such as marathons and street festivals continue to draw crowds downtown.

- Public safety improvements have led to a decline in crime rates.

Additional growth includes developments like "The 314" near Energizer Park and redevelopments along Washington Avenue.

Arch to Park Equity Fund collaborated with PGAV Planners on developing the RFP and will work alongside the City of St. Louis for alignment on redevelopment plans.

Interested parties can access the Request for Proposal and Data Room online. Submissions are due by 3:00 p.m. Central Time on July 4, 2025.
