A Missouri Lottery player in Clay County has secured a $50,000 prize with a “$5,000,000 Fortune” Scratchers ticket. The winning ticket was purchased at HyVee located at 7117 N. Prospect Ave., Gladstone.
The winner collected the prize at the Lottery’s Kansas City regional office on April 23.
The “$5,000,000 Fortune” game has awarded over $102.2 million in prizes since its release as a $50 game. More than $150.3 million in prizes remain unclaimed, including a top prize of $5 million, three $1 million prizes, and 25 additional $50,000 prizes.
In fiscal year 2024 (FY24), players in Clay County won over $29.6 million in Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers earned more than $3.1 million through commissions and bonuses while over $10.1 million from lottery proceeds were allocated to education programs within the county.
