A Missouri Lottery player recently experienced an unexpected windfall when she won $50,000 on a "500X" Scratchers ticket. The winning ticket was purchased at QuikTrip located at 9099 Natural Bridge Road in Bel Ridge.
Upon revealing the first $20,000 prize, the winner expressed disbelief, saying, “I saw the first $20,000 prize and thought, ‘Is this real?’” Her surprise grew as she continued to scratch off more prizes until they totaled $50,000. She exclaimed her astonishment by stating, “I couldn’t believe it!”
The "500X" game has awarded over $183.1 million in prizes so far. However, there is still more than $74.4 million in unclaimed prizes for this $50 game. This includes a top prize of $5 million and 16 additional prizes of $50,000.
The recent winner plans to invest her winnings in real estate.
