A Missouri Lottery player recently won a $462,000 jackpot in the Show Me Cash drawing on March 9. The winning ticket was purchased at QuikTrip located at 2105 N. Highway 67 in Florissant.
The winner recounted his experience: “I was checking my numbers on the Lottery app,” he said. “It showed I won, but then I started questioning, ‘Am I the only winner?’”
Upon claiming his prize at the St. Louis regional office, lottery officials confirmed that his ticket was indeed the sole winner for that night's draw with the numbers 1, 2, 4, 7, and 23.
“At first I was in disbelief,” he expressed with a laugh. “Then, after claiming the prize, it became a little more real. But it was really real when it hit my bank account!”
Show Me Cash drawings occur daily at 8:59 p.m., starting with jackpots of $50,000 which increase until they are claimed. The estimated jackpot for tonight stands at $216,000.
In fiscal year 2024 (FY24), players from St. Louis County have collectively won over $200.8 million in Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers received more than $19.4 million through commissions and bonuses while education programs in the county benefited from over $161.2 million generated by lottery proceeds.
