A Missouri Lottery player experienced an unexpected windfall at a QuikTrip located at 3211 Clark Lane in Columbia. The individual purchased a "“$2,000,000 Extreme Cash” Scratchers ticket" and discovered they had won $100,000.

"I was there and I just bought that one," the winner stated. "It was just a random purchase." The winner scratched off the ticket while still in the store and was surprised to learn of their substantial prize. "We were so excited! We were jumping up and down in the store!" they exclaimed.

The “$2,000,000 Extreme Cash” game has already awarded over $34.7 million in prizes. Currently, more than $15.9 million remains unclaimed, including another $100,000 prize and a top prize of $2 million.

In Boone County during fiscal year 2024, players collected over $23.9 million from Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers benefited with more than $2.4 million in commissions and bonuses, while education programs received upwards of $53.2 million from appropriated Lottery proceeds.
