A Missouri Lottery player in St. Charles County has become a millionaire after purchasing a winning Lotto ticket. The ticket, sold at Rocket, located at 463 Hawk Ridge Trail in Lake St. Louis, matched all six numbers in the latest drawing, resulting in a $6.3 million jackpot win. The winning numbers were 5, 8, 30, 32, 39, and 40.
The winner can claim their prize by scheduling an appointment at any of the Missouri Lottery's four offices situated in St. Louis, Jefferson City, Springfield, and Kansas City. Winners of Draw Games have up to 180 days from the draw date to collect their winnings; for this jackpot, the deadline is September 15.
Lotto jackpot winners are presented with two options for claiming their prize: a lump-sum payment that is roughly half of the advertised jackpot or receiving the full amount distributed over 25 annual payments.
Lotto drawings occur on Wednesday and Saturday evenings at 8:59 p.m., with the next jackpot resetting to $1 million for the upcoming Saturday drawing on March 22.
