Missouri Lottery officials are urging Powerball ticket holders in the Kansas City area to check their tickets, as two $50,000 prizes are nearing expiration. The winning tickets were sold for the September 30, 2024, Powerball drawing and will expire on March 29 if not claimed.

The tickets were purchased at Price Chopper located at 109 N. Cedar Drive in Belton and Speedway at 501 N.E. Napoleon in Blue Springs. Each ticket matched four of the five white-ball numbers and the Powerball number drawn that night. The winning numbers were 9, 11, 30, 43, and 69 with a Powerball number of 20.

Players can verify their tickets using Missouri Lottery Check-A-Ticket machines available at retail locations or through the scanning feature on the Lottery’s mobile app.

Unclaimed prize money is transferred to the Lottery Proceeds Fund to support public education if not redeemed by the deadline.

A list of unclaimed Draw Games prizes worth $50,000 or more is available on the Unclaimed Prizes page.
