A Missouri Lottery player discovered she held a winning $50,000 Powerball ticket after seeing a social media post about the February 12 drawing. The ticket was purchased at Pump N Pete’s in Carthage, located at 201 E. Central Ave. The winning numbers for that draw were 21, 32, 36, 45, and 49, with the Powerball number being 18.

The winner recounted her experience: “I knew I had purchased a ticket from there, and the Powerball number matched the number I usually play,” she said. “I grabbed my ticket and checked the rest of the numbers.”

Upon checking her ticket against the numbers mentioned in the post, she realized it not only matched the Powerball number but also four out of five white-ball numbers.

Powerball is a multi-state lottery game with drawings occurring on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m.

In fiscal year 2024, players in Jasper County won over $15 million in Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers earned more than $1.4 million in commissions and bonuses from these sales. Additionally, more than $3.5 million from lottery proceeds supported education programs within the county.
