After checking the Missouri Lottery website, she noticed that the jackpot had been claimed but didn't have her ticket handy to verify. The following day, while waiting in line, she checked her purse and confirmed her win. "And there it says clear as day that I was the winner!" she recounted, adding humorously, "I lost my mind!"

Upon returning home excitedly, she startled her partner with the news. She remembered his reaction: “What is wrong with you?” before revealing her big win.

Show Me Cash draws occur daily at 8:59 p.m., offering jackpots starting at $50,000 that increase until someone wins. Currently, tonight's jackpot is estimated at $388,000.

In Jackson County during fiscal year 2024, players collected over $109.8 million from Missouri Lottery prizes. Additionally, retailers earned more than $9.8 million through commissions and bonuses while education programs received over $22 million from appropriated Lottery proceeds.
