A Missouri Lottery player recently experienced a significant win at Jay’s Corner Store in Kennett. The player, who purchased a "Triple Cash Crossword" ticket, was surprised by the outcome.

“I hadn’t seen that one before, so I thought I’d get that one,” the winner said. Initially, the player recognized it as a winning ticket but did not fully comprehend the magnitude of the prize until visiting the Missouri Lottery office.

“I was in shock!” she exclaimed. “It wasn’t until I got to the [Missouri Lottery] office and they told me I won a $100,000 that it felt real.”

Since its launch on February 4th, players of "Triple Cash Crossword" have claimed over $1.1 million in prizes. Currently, there are more than $15.9 million in unclaimed prizes available, including five additional top prizes of $100,000.

In fiscal year 2024, Dunklin County ticket buyers secured over $10.5 million in total Missouri Lottery winnings. Retailers earned more than $827,000 through commissions and bonuses, while education programs in the county benefited from over $926,000 in appropriated lottery proceeds.
