A Missouri Lottery player in Joplin has won a $100,000 prize from the "300X" Scratchers game. The winning ticket was bought at Downstream Q Store, located at 4777 Downstream Blvd. in Joplin. The winner claimed their prize at the Missouri Lottery's Springfield regional office on February 20.

The "300X" game has seen players win over $47.7 million so far, including a notable win by a player in Licking who claimed one of the three top prizes of $3 million available in the game. Currently, there are still more than $59.5 million in unclaimed prizes for this game, which includes two additional prizes of $100,000 and two top prizes of $3 million.

In fiscal year 2024, players who purchased tickets in Newton County won over $6.1 million in total Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers earned more than $623,000 through commissions and bonuses during this period. Additionally, education programs within the county benefited from more than $1.3 million allocated from Lottery proceeds.
