A Missouri Lottery player in St. Louis has won a $100,000 prize from the "Big Cash Riches" Scratchers game. The winner purchased the ticket at MK Market on Bellefontaine Road and kept it on her nightstand for nearly two weeks before scratching it.

"I only play the games with the bonus scratching area on the back," she explained. After initially finding no winnings on the front of the ticket, she discovered a $20,000 prize upon scratching the back. Further scratching revealed she had won one of the game's top prizes.

"I held it up to my heart and my mouth dropped open," she recounted. She shared her excitement with her son, who exclaimed, "We're rich!"

The "Big Cash Riches" game has awarded over $7.8 million in prizes so far, with more than $12.5 million still unclaimed, including three additional top prizes of $100,000.

In fiscal year 2024, players in St. Louis County won over $200.8 million in Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers earned more than $19.4 million in commissions and bonuses, while education programs received over $161.2 million from lottery proceeds.
